LLDPE

Linear polyethylene with significant numbers of short branches, LLDPE is produced at lower temperatures and pressure by copolymerization of ethylene and such higher alpha-olefins as butene, hexene, or octene.

LDPE

Thermoplastic made from the monomer ethylene. Due to its low density properties (branching) it breaks down more easily over time, leading to higher surface areas.

HDPE

Thermoplastic polymer produced from the monomer ethylene. HDPE has little branching, giving it stronger intermolecular forces and tensile strength than LDPE.
